Reflexology is a non-intrusive complementary health therapy based on the theory that different points on the feet, face and hands correspond with different areas of the body. Reflexology works by manipulating and stimulating specific reflex points. These points correspond to different areas of the body. Reflexologists work holistically to treat the whole person not just symptoms. Reflexology aims to optimise both physical and emotional health and is a safe, natural, holistic treatment that helps to balance and harmonise the body being beneficial to all ages.

Face Reflexology is a gentle, relaxing therapy in which facial reflexes and muscles are stimulated by applying slight pressure to encourage relaxation and rebalancing with the added benefit of leaving your skin with a healthy glow.  Treatments to the face can have a powerful effect on the central nervous system and be beneficial to reducing stress and anxiety as well as providing some relief for headaches, migraines and issues with sinuses.

I am qualified in Bergman Zone Method Advanced Facial Reflexology taught by Ziggie Bergman at the London School of Reflexology.

What to expect when you book an appointment

Appointments can be booked via email, Facebook, Instagram or by phone and will be followed up with a confirmation email containing full details about your appointment.

What to expect during a treatment

A confidential consultation is taken at your first appointment.  You will be seated in a reclining chair.  I begin the treatment by wiping the face and applying your choice of a facial oil before carrying out relaxation techniques and gently working the facial muscles and reflexes relating to the body as a whole.

Post Treatment & Aftercare

Following the treatment you will be encouraged to rest and drink water to aid the detoxifying process. Full aftercare advice will be provided at your appointment. The effects of reflexology are cumulative and full effects may not be seen until you have had four to six sessions.

Reflexology never claims to diagnose, prescribe or cure illnesses but it can help reduce everyday stresses and strains, aiding relaxation and revitalising energy levels
